As of 2019, Python has been the fastest growing programming language for several years, and still gives no sign of slowing down. Last but not least, Square Shooter and Buzz Grid also got desktop ports based on Python and Pygame. The text-based prototype of Space Cruiser Orion was also made in Python, along with others that were never completed.

Apart from games, the Adventure Prompt editor and compiler are written in Python, and so is the Stereo Imagination suite.
