When Development Is the Game
Launched in 2010 as a game development blog documenting the explorations of two friends, No Time To Play has grown into a large collection of knowledge for hobbyist creators, spread across the 'net.
We opened on the 11th of August 2010 with the following message:
So, we’re up and running.
Why another gaming blog, you might ask?
Well, why not?
- To showcase our own work.
- To round up the news we care about.
- To share the things we find cool and useful
Who we are? Just a couple of guys who like games (video- or not) enough to try and make our own. Sometimes we even succeed. We’re doing this for ourselves and for people like us. We know you’re out there; hopefully we’ll find each other.
Enjoy!
The site peaked in 2011/2012 with contributions from several people; this wiki mostly documents those heady days. It went through wrenching changes in 2017-2018, and has been maintained by just one person since 2019.
It's still a worthwhile task to pursue. The journey continues. Thank you for being here.
